Albion House offers self-catered accommodation for new postgraduates and continuing undergraduates.
Each apartment has a contemporary open plan kitchen/living space with a flat screen TV, leather sofas and a washer/dryer.
Due to the central location of Albion House there is no on-site parking, however, Pay and Display car parks are located close by.
If you’re staying in Albion House and would like to order essential items such as bedding, stationery, cutlery, etc. to be delivered to your residence ready for your arrival, you can visit our preferred partner UniKitOut (with a 10% discount with the code NU10).

St James Metro station is a short walk away.
There are Metro trains every 10 minutes to and from this station.
Albion House is within five minutes’ walk of the city centre where there are buses, Metros and trains to all locations.

Calls to this number will cost 10 pence a minute from a landline and considerably more from a mobile.
From Newcastle Central Station you can take the Metro to St James Station.
Taxis are also available from the Central Station.
Newcastle International Airport is about seven miles northwest of Newcastle University.
A taxi from the airport will take about 15 minutes, costing approximately £15.
You can also travel by Metro (rapid transport system) to St James Station which will take approximately 20–25 minutes.

The contract is a fixed-term period of 51 weeks (14 September 2018 to 6 September 2019). Rents are charged per day, so if your contract differs to the standard dates above (i.e. earlier arrival), you will incur additional accommodation charges at the relevant daily rate.
Your costs include a hot water and heating allowance of £6.47 per person per week (£330.00 per year). You will be liable for any charge above this allowance figure.
WiFi includes standard broadband of 20mb/s. Upgrades are available.
The £500.00 application fee payment that is required at the time of completing the application will be split; £200.00 will be used as a security deposit and the remaining £300 will be used towards your summer term rent.
