Speed networking workshop and event

Date: Thursday 14 March 2024 | Time: 17:30 - 20:00 (GMT)
Location: Stephenson Building, Newcastle University | Get directions

We all know that meeting a room full of new people can be daunting, especially at the start of your career!

That's why the Newcastle Alumni Network has teamed up with the 93% Club student society to provide the opportunity for current students and recent graduates to develop their networking skills- and they are calling on the help of our alumni community!

Information for current students and recent graduates

Learn how to network during a speed networking workshop, facilitated by Alison Shaw (Professor of Practice - Inclusive Learning at Newcastle University). Then put your learning into practice straightaway at a speed networking event with other alumni from your local community.

Speed networking is a fast-paced, informal, and fun way of meeting others and sharing thoughts, ideas and experiences while breaking down barriers and helping to develop relationships.

Please note that the workshop is open to current students and recent graduates (Class of 2021, 2022 and 2023).
