By entering the competition, BGA student and graduate members have an opportunity to win a $3,000 USD cash prize, elevate their profile and gain international recognition among peers, educators and potential employers.

All Newcastle University Business School graduates can become members of the Business Graduates Association free of charge and are encouraged to share their business acumen in this competition.

This year, participants are asked to solve a business challenge a Latin American bank are facing within their sustainability department. The competition is open until 15 November 2021 and BGA are hosting free workshops in the run up to the closing date to help members gain insights and advice.

Following the deadline in November, shortlisted finalists will be invited to complete a short presentation to the judging panel via video link. During this presentation, finalists will detail their methodology and highlight key considerations in relation to sustainable business practice used throughout the submission to arrive at their solution.
