Newcastle University to participate in an International University entrepreneurship event next month.

In the International University Pitch-Off, student companies from England and Ireland will pitch their ideas against rival ventures from universities in the Philadelphia area.
Representing Newcastle at the event is Great North Research and Innovation. The company is developing improvements to the diagnosis of Sepsis, also referred to as blood poisoning or septicaemia.
Great North Research and Innovation received support from Newcastle University’s Founderships Programme. This programme is a business start-up package for graduate entrepreneurs recognised by the University for their potential to achieve scale in any sector. Founderships provide graduates with the resources required to launch a business and achieve notable success.
