Professor Rachel Armstrong revealed as a finalist for the English Women's Awards 2019 North

The 2nd English Women’s Awards North will recognise and celebrate Northern female talent, women power-houses and organisations with influential and hardworking women making a change across industries across Northern England.

The 2nd English Women’s Awards North will recognise and celebrate Northern female talent, women power-houses and organisations with influential and hardworking women making a change across industries across Northern England.

The number of nominations received over the past months was overwhelming and the full list with finalists has now been compiled.

Professor Rachel Armstrong has been shortlisted as a finalist in the category of Services to Science and Technology.

The 2nd English Women’s Awards North is taking place in Manchester’s Mercure Piccadilly Hotel on July 1st 2019.

The ceremony is set to be a brilliant night, celebrating the achievements of women in different roles across many sectors of industry, including business, sport, tech, management and charity.

The Awards will provide women entrepreneurs, professionals, businesses, civil servants and sports stars with a platform to be recognised for their success and contribution to society, and stand as inspirational role models for the next generation of girls.

Creative Oceanic has delivered award ceremonies for nearly a decade in cities around the world, including Belfast, Dublin, Toronto, London, Glasgow, Cardiff, Manchester Leicester, Birmingham and is soon launching in New York. Creative Oceanic campaigns have awarded people in the hospitality, food, hair & beauty, SME business, independent retail and women’s sectors.
