Graduate opportunities showcased at “Planning Futures” careers event

Held on 14 November, the event invited students to meet employers and discuss future career opportunities in planning

We were pleased to welcome representatives from local and national employers who each delivered a presentation on their graduate programmes. The event was well attended by second year and final year students who were able to find out more about the different routes available to them following completion of their degree.

Teresa Strachan, lecturer in planning said, "Structuring the day to include both presentations and an exhibition gave students the opportunity to chat with professionals and practitioners directly".

Thank you to the representatives from David Lock Associates, Savills, the Ministry of Housing, Local Communities and Government, Lichfields, Greater Cambridge Shared Planning Service and the Royal Town Planning Institute North East for attending and delivering presentations.
