Grand opening of Fenham Pocket Park with Deputy Lord Mayor

On Saturday 21 May Newcastle's Deputy Lord Mayor will officially open a Pocket Park in Fenham.

The Pocket Park is open to all, it will be a space to play, a place to sit surrounded by nature and a place for the community to enjoy.  There will be refreshments, kids games, seed planting and the allotments open to the public.

The project was made possible by Fenham Association of Residents being awarded government funding and supported by a team from the School including architects Armelle Tardiveau and Daniel Mallo.
