A computational design approach to full-culm bamboo

This research develops a computational design approach for full-culm bamboo for architects to design for the raw, round form of bamboo to ensure durability and constructability in the early design stages of an architecture project. Given the localised application of bamboo resources, the context of Haiti is referenced in order to provide us with a specific palette of available bamboo characteristics and fundamental design constraints to consider.
