The University and School host a number of events and activities. You can join one of our Open Days, come to a public event, visit our museums and galleries, or just enjoy a stroll through our campus.

Prospective undergraduates

Newcastle University holds Open Days for prospective undergraduate students in the Summer and Autumn each year. There's a variety of activities to help you find out about the University, student life and the city.

The School also holds Open Days each year for applicants in receipt of an offer. You'll meet staff and current students and be able to look around the School. You are usually given a choice of dates to attend, which are normally between February and April. To find out when these are, please contact the School. Further details on how to register for these will be sent to you after you have received an offer.

Prospective postgraduates

We hold Postgraduate Open Days for prospective postgraduate students to come and look around the campus and talk to staff and students. For more information, please contact the School

Campus facilities and events

The School organises a public lecture series which is free and open to all.  In addition we host a number of student exhibitions throughout the year, these are advertised on our news page.

The University campus has a number of museums, galleries and collections which are open to the public and free public events.

If you can't come to an organised event, you are welcome to look around the campus anytime, although you may not have access to all buildings.
