Athena SWAN Cross-Faculty Forum

As part of the University's ongoing work to support the Athena SWAN Charter, a Cross Faculty Forum has been established to share best practice and learning in departments across SAgE, FMS and HASS.

Meetings will be held on a quarterly basis and focus on a particular theme. The first session will focus on the expanded Athena SWAN Charter.

During the session we will look at:

The new application form, questions and data requirements

New areas for inclusion: Professional Support Staff, trans-staff and inter-sectionality

General observations from an Athena SWAN assessment panel meeting held in March

It would also be interesting to hear from departments currently working on Athena SWAN applications for submission in 2016.
