EDI in Research Conference

Venue: King's Hall, Armstrong Building

The second Newcastle University Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Research conference which will be held on Friday 25th October 2019 in the King's Hall, Armstrong Building.

The conference will provide a platform to showcase the excellent research related to EDI at Newcastle University. It will also provide an opportunity to network with colleagues working in EDI research from across the University. If you are researching any aspect of EDI, then this conference is for you.

The conference is open to all academics, early career researchers and postgraduate students at Newcastle University working in EDI research. The setting of the research does not have to be Newcastle.

We are delighted that Prof Kalwant Bhopal has agreed to speak at the conference. Prof Bhopal is Professor of Education and Social Justice, Professorial Research Fellow and Deputy Director of the Centre for Research in Race and Education in the School of Education at the University of Birmingham.
