European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO)

The EMBO Young Investigators scheme supports young researchers in the life sciences to build their first independent teams and offers a wide range of benefits, including an award of €15,000, networking and training opportunities.

 

Applicants should be under 40 years old with between one and four years' leadership experience. These limits are automatically extended by one year for female candidates with children.

 

Applications for the 2019 scheme are now closed.  Details of the 2020 scheme will be posted on the scheme website at the end of the year, and the submission deadline will be 1 April 2020.
