North East Innovation Lab Biobank
We have a substantial in-house biobank which consists of over 15,000 unique samples with associated metadata including variant status and positivity for the N, ORF1ab and S genes of SARS-Cov-2.
We also have the capability and governance in place to prospectively collect clinical samples under bespoke protocols. These custom sample collections are invaluable when standard remnant materials are not appropriate to use in evaluating how a test could be used in the real world.
