We run a scheme to allow Stage Two students to work as a Laboratory Assistant within a research laboratory.

We offer opportunities to become student mentors and get involved with our employability ambassadors scheme.

You can also find paid, flexible work experience with an internship or with jobs on campus

We can also help you find professional placement opportunities to work in a company for a year.

We offer opportunities to volunteer as part of the SOLAR outreach team that teach science practicals in schools.

Want to study abroad for part of your degree? We offer a range of exchange opportunities abroad with academic partner institutions, for between 6 weeks to an academic year.

These are excellent opportunities to widen skills and gain experience. They will help in employment and further study applications.
