Research-Led Teaching

Research-led teaching is extremely important to us to ensure that our curriculum is up-to-date and innovative. All of our staff are actively involved in research and there are several opportunities for students to get involved in research projects throughout their degree.

The School of Biomedical, Nutritional and Sport Sciences has close links with the Faculty of Medical Sciences world-leading research institutes and therefore our students benefit from the knowledge and understanding of the latest developments and discoveries in human health and disease.

Nutrition and Dietetics Research

Current areas our teaching staff are actively researching in are:
