Open Days and Visits

Open Days and Visits

Visiting a department, university, and city is a valuable step in informing your degree choice. We provide a series of opportunities for prospective students and guests to visit us.

Open Days

Newcastle University holds Open Days in the summer and autumn each year.

We provide these for pre-applicant students embarking on the UCAS application process. There's a variety of activities to help you find out about our courses, the University, student life, and the city.

Due to the effects of COVID-19, our recent open days have been virtual. The schedule for the next round of virtual Open Days will appear here once the dates are confirmed.

Independent visits

We encourage prospective students to take part in our online activities as part of an organised open day/offer holder day.

These allow you to benefit from the range of activities on offer. We are currently unable to offer independent visits.

Self-guided campus tours

The University offers self-guided campus tours which will help you to find your way around our campus at your own pace.

As part of our admissions process for the Dietetics course, suitable applicants will be invited for an interview. If you have been invited for interview you will be provided with more information on the format of the interview as part of your invitation.
