Project description

My research revolves around the role of AI anthropomorphism in shaping the user’s psychological processes. In specific, we study how the user’s unique traits along with situational factors affect the user’s perceptions of anthropomorphised AI agents that have different purposes (e.g., entertainment, administrative, etc).

This area of human-robot interaction has received attention from scholars to investigate the usage of personal AI assistants in a consumer’s daily life. The research follows an interdisciplinary approach by borrowing insights from the fields of psychology, consumer behaviour and human-robot interaction.
