Background
Jessica joined the Careers Service as a Development Officer in the Curriculum Team in January 2009, after completing a PhD in Renaissance drama in September 2008. She had previously worked part-time as a CV Adviser in the Careers Service, and as a Teaching Assistant in the School of English.
Roles and Responsibilities
Jessica is module leader for the Stage 3 Career Development module; she also acts as a tutor, delivering teaching and providing academic support to students on this and other work-based learning modules within the Careers Service and across the University. She also contributes to a number of other employability initiatives within Newcastle University, and is an External Examiner for University of Chester's Work Based Learning modules.
