I joined the Careers Service in March 2007 as an information officer. Before this, I worked as a careers information manager for Connexions Tyne and Wear.

Roles and Responsibilities

I provide one-to-one information and advice to students and recent graduates and am Web Editor for the Careers Service website, writing, editing and developing web resources.  

With my colleagues, I also organise the First Year Work Shadowing Experience - a 3-day programme which provides first year students with an insight into a range of careers with graduate employers in the North East.

MA Information and Library Management, Northumbria University
BA Service Sector Management, Glasgow Caledonian University

Associate member of the Association of Careers Advisory Services (AGCAS).
