Rhona joined the Careers Service in October 2017 as Student Employment Assistant within the Graduate Recruitment team and now works as Placements Coordinator within the Placements Team.

Prior to joining the Careers Service, Rhona has worked in various roles and departments throughout Newcastle University.

Roles and Responsibilities

Rhona's primary responsibility is coordinating the administration and marketing of the Newcastle University Careers Service Placement Year. This includes supporting and liaising with Placement Advisers, Module delivery teams, Academic colleagues, External Employers and Placement Students to coordinate and manage students undertaking a Careers Service Placement Year.
