North East Ambition Programme

Calling all students! Join 100 university students from Newcastle, Northumbria, Durham and Sunderland for the North East Ambition Programme in June and July 2020! It's your chance to make an impact and leave your mark on the region you study in.

Date/Time: 25 - 30 June or 9 - 14 July 2020, various times

Venue: Online (Zoom)

Join the North East Ambition Programme to tackle a major challenge set by senior leaders of your region. Develop your ability to thrive in complex situations and lead diverse groups to innovative solutions.
 
The North East Local Enterprise partnership invite you and 100 of your peers to come together online across four programme days to virtually visit organisations on the frontline and hear from experts as you get to grips with the challenge set by the region’s leadership: “How do we increase knowledge of and access to graduate employment opportunities in the Region?” 
 
Working in diverse groups of peers from Newcastle University, Durham University, Northumbria University, University of Sunderland and Newcastle College, you will devise innovative solutions and present your ideas to experts and senior stakeholders in the region, who could help make it a reality. This is your chance to make an impact and leave your mark on the region.
 
Participating in the programme will help you develop the skills and competencies required to be successful in the 21st century.

Programme dates:

The programme takes place online, on Zoom, across four days, each involving up to three hours of engagement.  There are 2 date options to choose from:
 
25-26, 29-30 June 2020 or 9-10, 13-14 July 2020

How can you demonstrate your participation?

Upon completion, you will be awarded a digital certificate verifying your  participation in the programme. You also have the opportunity to claim an  Inclusive Leadership micro-credential – the resulting digital badge can be  displayed on your LinkedIn page or in your digital backpack.
