Science Careers Outside the Lab: From Molecule to Medicine Product Lifecycle Challenge with GSK

If you’re keen to develop your teamwork and communication skills and learn more about career opportunities within a global pharmaceutical and healthcare company, join this interactive session delivered in partnership with GSK.

Date/Time: 17 March 2021, 14:00 - 15:30

Venue: Online

Get the chance to:

  • build an understanding of the range of lab and non-lab based opportunities for science students and graduates across GSK’s product lifecycle
  • enhance your teamwork and communication skills working on a timed activity with other students in break-out rooms
  • gain a better understanding of what to expect during a group work activity to build confidence ahead of assessment centres

This session will be co-delivered by the Careers Service and Deanna Butler, Logistics Digital Product Manager from GSK. Deanna graduated from Newcastle University in 2018 has worked in several roles for GSK since then in production management and logistics.

As this session will be interactive, we’d ask that you join the session prepared to contribute your ideas, leaving your camera on if possible, as you will be working in small groups on a timed activity set by GSK.
