Come along to our week of online panel sessions to learn more about the wide variety of career opportunities for students and graduates interested in using their scientific skills and knowledge outside a traditional lab-based setting.

Come along to our online sessions to:

  • discover more about the wide range of non lab-based career options open to science students
  • chat with Newcastle University graduates and employers who are now using their scientific skills and knowledge in different areas
  • build contacts with key organisations employing science graduates

Each panel session will give you the chance to hear from science professionals working in a range of organisations and career areas, including: communications, audit, medical writing, publishing, recruitment, business development, clinical trials, quality assurance, regulatory affairs and intellectual property.

As well as our panel sessions, we’re running an interactive session, From Molecule to Medicine, to help you explore the range of non-lab science careers with global healthcare and pharmaceutical employer, GSK.

All of the sessions are open to all Newcastle University students, recent graduates and early career researchers.
