How to Register

Registering for the Career Development Module couldn't be easier.

To register, select the Career Development module you want during module choice week, or at the start of the academic year. Your school can tell you if you are eligible to take a Career Development module as part of your course.

The module codes are:

NCL2007 - for Stage 2 students
NCL3007 - for Stage 3 students who have not yet decided on a career path
NCL3008 - for Stage 3 students with a clear career in mind (and may have already started to apply for jobs)
NCL8007 - for Master's Level students

If you need more detail about our modules, see our Module Guide, or contact us for more advice.

Once you've registered, all you need to do is check your University email for further information and instructions.

Student Tutoring

You will need to complete an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (formerly called a CRB check) through the Careers Service. You'll get details once you've registered.

Student Volunteering and Learning from Work

You need to have a work or volunteering placement arranged, then confirm your choice of placement with your personal tutor or degree programme director.
