Dr Manuel Llorca

Manuel Llorca is Research Fellow in Energy Economics at Durham University Business School and Early Career Fellow at the Durham Energy Institute (DEI).  He holds a PhD from the University of Oviedo and a Master’s Degree in Economics from the Universities of the Basque Country, Cantabria and Oviedo. 

His research interest includes efficiency and productivity analysis of electric utilities, energy demand, energy networks, energy issues in developing countries, fuel poverty, electricity sector reform and fuel demand in transport.

He is also a Research Associate at the Oviedo Efficiency Group, University of Oviedo and has been Academic Visitor at the Energy Policy Research Group, University of Cambridge.
