Edward is Professor and Director of Planning in the School of Energy, Geoscience, Infrastructure and Society of Heriot-Watt University.
His research interests include many areas of Environmental Engineering including Carbon Accounting, Renewable Energy Policy and Resource Depletion. Consultancy services include wave tank testing of offshore structures, wind tunnel testing and renewable energy optimisation.
Edward is the Energy Technology Partnership’s National Theme Coordinator for Energy Utilisation in Building and visiting Professor at Yunnan University in Kunming, China.
