Using single-cell RNA-sequencing to understand cell fate decisions in early development

Visiting speaker - Dr John Marioni

Date/Time: 16.00 - 17.00 15 March 2018

Venue: Research Beehive room 2.21

Over the past few years, single-cell RNA-sequencing has become a key element in the molecular biologist’s toolbox. In this presentation, John will discuss some of the computational challenges that have to be addressed if the data generated using this technology are to be properly interpreted. He will illustrate these tools using data collected from different stages of early mouse development, focussing particularly on gastrulation.
