Combined Honours Conference 2020 Horizons: Seeing Where Learning Takes Us

For the seventh year, please join us on Thursday 19th March 2020 for the annual Combined Honours Conference. This year the conference is called Horizons: Seeing Where Student-Led Learning Takes Us, with the aim being to demonstrate the wide-range of topics and conversations that Higher Education invokes beyond the syllabus.

This annual Conference presents projects from past and present Combined Honours students through various mediums, which demonstates the various ways we all process, display and present information.

It's a fantastic opportunity to meet other students and alumni. The event will also enable current students to explore the opportunites available to them as a member of the Combined cohort. Whether this is through viewing a topic through a new lens or by understanding in depth the different projects you can undertake as a Stage 2 or 3 student, there is something to be gained for everyone.

The conference includes:

  • presentations
  • short conversational workshops
  • posters

The topics of the day will range from life after a year abroad to going green on campus, and from the idolisation of K-pop industry to the effects colonialism has had on feminism in developing countries.

There will be more topics represented at this conference, so please see the CH Conference 2020 Programme: Horizons - Seeing where student-led learning takes us for further detail. Once you have decided what takes you interest, please use our booking form to let us know which sessions you are interested in attending.

We look forward to seeing you there!
