Angela Craggs

NICD Administrator

Background

As Administrator for the National Innovation Centre for Data (NICD), Angela supports the Senior Management in the initial set up phase of NICD, ensuring direct lines of contact with the building design team, interior designers, estates and NUIT, so that various information requests required for a capital build are clearly defined, communicated and managed to agreed timescales.

Angela joined Newcastle University in February 2013 after 11 years working as a Specialist Adviser in Enterprise & Business Support within Regional Development landscape. Initially supporting Post Graduate Research students before progressing to Research Support Officer (post-award). Angela then joined the Business School as an Engagement Support Co-ordinator in 2015, working with business community, academics and students, facilitating links to the Business School and supporting its Engagement Agenda. Angela joined NICD in 2016 as Engagement Officer, progressing to Administrator in May 2017.
