About

We aim to maximize the impact of innovation efforts on teaching practices, programmes, and curricula within Computing Education.

Our activities are wide-reaching and varied. We manage teacher training and the national Computing at School initiative. We run outreach activities, including visits to schools. For more information on the work we do with Schools, look at the Working with Schools page.

We also:

  • review existing degree programmes and review ways of improvement
  • develop employability skills
  • create and maintain links with Industry
  • Update and improve the way we train our module demonstrators
  • establish teaching requirements for the new curriculum in September 2019

The group is led by Dr. Marie Devlin, for more information about the Teaching Innovation Group you should contact Marie
