Newcastle University Graduation Ceremonies are formal occasions and may not be suitable for all Children.

We recommend that, where possible, guests with children buy tickets for the Live Screening. If guests with children have King's Hall tickets, the group will be seated in the Gallery so that they will not disrupt proceedings if they become restless and need to leave. On the day of the ceremony, please inform the Ticket Desk if you have any children under the age of 5 in your party.

Children under five won't need a ticket, if they'll be sitting on the knee of a guest. Children must be under the direct supervision of an adult at all times.

Special seating arrangements

Please inform us of any specific access requirements you or your guests may have, by completing the relevant section of the application form when you submit your Congregation application.

Ticket refunds

Tickets are non-refundable, except when a student does not pass their course in time to attend the Congregation ceremony.
