On the Day


Before your ceremony:

You are advised to arrive at the Ground Floor Lecture Theatre (102 Middlesex Street) from 10:30am onwards so that you can register, collect your tickets and pick-up your gown before reporting to the ceremony venue. Professional photography studios will also be open (see below for details).

You will need to bring your Student ID or other photographic ID (e.g. driving licence/passport) with you.

(We can only issue tickets to the graduate so please do not send one of your guests to collect them).

The ceremony:

Your ceremony will take place at Christ Church Spitalfields (approx. 5 mins walk from the former NU London Building) and will last approx. 60 minutes.

Please report to the main entrance of Christ Church Spitalfields between 1:00-1:30pm.

After your ceremony:

There will be a post-ceremony reception within the venue immediately following the ceremony.

Photography and Filming

Professional photography sessions will be available on the day (no booking required) via our contracted photography supplier (Tempest). The studios will be open between 10:30am and 1:00pm and will be based at Ground Floor Lecture Theatre (102 Middlesex Street).

Wherever possible, our photographers will also take a photograph of each candidate crossing the stage. This will be made available to purchase online following the ceremony.

General photography and filming will take place at the ceremony venue. These will be used for University marketing materials, both print and web. If you do not wish to appear, tell the photographer, film crew or a member of staff. Every effort will then be made to ensure that you are removed.
