Photography and DVD

The official university photographers, will be on campus for the whole Congregations period.

December 2018 Photography

Studio

The photographers will welcome candidates and their guests into their photography studios in the Hadrian Building between 08.00 and 19.30 every day during the Congregations.

Photographs will be posted out within four to six weeks of the ceremony.

Award

Guests are welcome to take photographs or video images during the ceremony. Please remain seated to avoid blocking the view of those around you.

Wherever possible, our official photographers will take a photograph of each candidate crossing the stage.

These photographs will be available to buy from The Boiler House on the day at a cost of £10 each. You can also order online after the ceremonies. 

If a registered student is unable to cover the cost of graduation photography, they may be eligible for financial assistance.

Commemorative DVD

You can buy a DVD of each graduation ceremony from The Boiler House on the day. The DVD includes the whole ceremony plus an introduction with views of the city and campus.

Photography and Filming at the Ceremony

The ceremony will be filmed and is shown live to guests in the Live Screening room, and to anyone who watches it online. The video of the ceremony will be available to view online for 6 months after the ceremony. A photographer will also take a photograph of each graduate crossing the stage. You can buy this on the day from the photography studios.

Also, general photography and filming will be taking place during all ceremonies and around campus. These photographs and film will be used for University marketing materials, both print and web. If you do not wish to appear in the photographs or film, make this known to the photographer, film crew or a member of staffEvery effort will be made to ensure that you are removed from any photographs or film.
