Wilson Horne Immunotherapy Centre

The Wilson Horne Immunotherapy Centre is part of the Clinical Research Facility and is the first dedicated centre of its kind in the UK.

It is at the forefront of the development of tolerogenic therapies as well as providing an additional focus for immunology in the region. We attract talented individuals with an interest in manipulating the human immune system for therapy of diseases as diverse as rheumatoid arthritis and cancer.

The Immunotherapy Centre is headed by Professor John Isaacs and provides the optimal environment for:

  • administration of experimental therapies
  • appropriate clinical investigation
  • collection and handling of biological material,
  • patient treatment and follow up
  • invasive investigation, such as arthroscopy and endoscopy
