Integrated PhD in Phonetics & Phonology
Taught modules and project proposal preparation take up the first year of these qualifications. They are ideal if you want to get up to speed with your subject area and research methods ahead of starting your project. Our Integrated Programme is designed for students who wish to develop an advanced theoretical and analytical grounding in Phonetics and Phonology. The focus can be theoretical or the application of phonetics and phonology in first and second language acquisition, sociolinguistics, speech science, and language patterning.
