Computing Lab

Our computing laboratory for electrical and electronic engineering has 116 workstations with a lecture area for mixed mode teaching.

All our PCs in the Computing Lab have standard engineering drawing and document creation tools installed, along with electrical and electronic engineering software.

Several machines are set up with hardware development kits to enable ARM, DSP, micro controller and FPGA programming, waveform generators and oscilloscopes. 

The lab is open for our students with smartcard access from 7.00 - 11.45  Mon - Fri. We encourage the use of this lab outside of timetabled sessions to enable you to become proficient with the packages.
