Dr Jun Luo

Research Associate

Background

I am a research associate in Brain-machine Interface (BMI) design and neuromorphic computing and now work in the UK flagship biomedical project CANDO (www.cando.ac.uk).

I received the Master’s degree in automation and control and the PhD degree in digital neural circuits design from the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Newcastle University, Newcastle upon Tyne, U.K., in 2010 and 2014, respectively. In between, I was a visiting academic in Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2011, and a research assistant in the City University of Hong Kong in 2013.
