Sustainable Shipping & Marine Engineering
Sustainable Shipping and Marine Engineering
About
Our research group uniquely combines diverse expertise including marine scientists, marine engineers and experts in maritime business and logistics.
We tackle the challenge of the transition to a low carbon, low environmental impact future by addressing critical and complex social, economic, technical and environmental issues related to marine transport.
We aim to reduce and mitigate the environmental impact caused by ship movements whilst ensuring the competitiveness of the marine transport sector.
Our work with Royston - a diesel engine manufacturer - recently featured on the Innovate UK blog.
