Background in Production Engineering at Creffield & Blackstock based locally in Ashington before moving on to Newcastle University.

Originally I was employed within Mechanical Engineering on a research contract with the Science and Economic Research Council into Novel Gyroscopes.  For the past 20+ years I have been heavily envolved in the growth of Computing and various computer based teaching and research projects.
