Background

I came to Newcastle in 2013 when I started my PhD program in Materials Science and Engineering. I completed my PhD with the thesis Performance of Low Cost Composite for Tidal Turbine Applications. 

Since Dec 2018 I am a Research Associate in the School of Engineering (Advanced Materials Group). My main areas of research are Materials Failure, Fatigue, Tribology and Finite Element Modelling. I also supervise research students (MSc and MEng).
