Background
Dr. Kuldeep Kavta is a Research Associate in the Future Mobility group at Newcastle University. He is currently working on the European Union funded 'eHUBs' project, where he is responsible for developing mode choice models that explain and predict the adoption of shared electric vehicles.
He completed his PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT KGP) in 2021. His doctoral research focused on understanding the impacts of combined travel demand management measures (congestion pricing and public bike sharing system) on mode choice decisions.
