Dr Muhammad Ikhlaq received his BE, MSc, and PhD in mechanical engineering. His area of research is experimental/computational Thermofluids. He worked on the flow and heat transfer characteristics of synthetic and swirling jets with reference to the cooling of electronic devices. Currently, he is a research associate at Newcastle University in Electrical Machines and working on different cooling methods for electrical machines.

Dr Muhammad Ikhlaq has been working in the area of Thermofluids since 2013. Currently, he is a member of the Electrical Power research group at Newcastle University. He is a former member of Thermofluids Research Group at Edith Cowan University and ART group at Evateg Centre. His research interests lie within the domain of experimental/computational fluid dynamics and heat transfer.
