Dr Na Dong

Research Associate

Background

Introduction

Na became a member of the water group and geomatics group of School of Engineering as a research associate in 2019. She has a multidisciplinary background on GIS, remote sensing, integrated assessment modelling and regional climate modelling.  Na's interests include spatial and temporal land-use change simulation, integrated assessment model and regional climate model, global change scenarios, and flood impact assessment. Recent she is working on the assessment of flood impacts on the transport network.


Qualification

2007 - 2011: Bachelor in Geomatic Engineering, Wuhan University

2011 - 2014: MSc. in Cartography and GIS, Peking University

2015 - 2018: PhD in Earth System & Geoinformation Science, The Chinese University of Hong Kong
