Sophie is a Project Controls Graduate at Jacobs, a premier design, engineering, construction and technical services firm. Sophie's role here includes working on large infrastructure projects and currently she is based in London working for the Environment Agency on the Thames Estuary Asset Management 2100 project, refurbishing and replacing tidal flood defences in and around London. Sophie graduated Newcastle in 2018 having studied Joint Honours History and Politics BA. Throughout University she was incredibly active in extra curricular activities, such as societies, sports and volunteering. She is looking forward to continuing to support the University in her role as Chair of Convocation.
