November is Academic Writing month!

writefest

WriteFest (#AcWriFest18) is part of Newcastle University's contribution to Academic Writing Month with activities running throughout November to support you in making writing a priority. The University has workshops and online resources to provide you with the space, time and support to write.

WriteFest18 is a collaboration with 11 partner Universities: Bristol, Derby, Edinburgh,  Exeter, Keele, Kings College London, LiverpoolManchester, Sheffield, Sheffield Hallam and Adelaide.

How to get involved

  • Register for one of the workshops or writing group, see below
  • Use the hashtag #AcWriFest18 to share your progress with other researchers
  • Also use the Academic Writing Month hashtag #AcriWriMo to get some inspiration from Academic Writing month overall.
  • Take ideas and inspiration from the partner universities
  • Make use of the additional WriteFest resources from the University of Sheffield
  • Most importantly - Protect some time to work on your writing!
