Background
Background
My current role within the Institute of Health and Society is as a Research Associate working on the NIHR Global Health Group on Dementia Prevention and Enhanced Care (DePEC) project.
I have a background in psychology and dementia studies, with experience in conducting research utilising a range of methods, including both qualitative and quantitative approaches. My research interests are centred around ageing, cognitive impairment, dementia, and the care and support of people living with dementia and cognitive impairment and their families. I am particularly interested in the care pathways for people living with dementia internationally, and in understanding how to best provide timely and accessible support for people living with dementia and their families.

NIHR Global Health Group on Dementia Prevention and Enhanced Care (DePEC) project. Project leader: Professor Louise Robinson
Research Interests
My PhD focused on understanding perspectives and knowledge of cognitive impairment in later life. I have a keen interest in ageing and the health conditions which predominantly occur in later life, including dementia and cognitive impairment. I am very interested in the care pathway structures for dementia and understanding how best to provide appropriate timely support for people living with dementia and their families which is accessible.
