Fellowship Success for Dr Audrey Verma
Audrey Verma, currently a Research Associate with Sociology, has been awarded a prestigious Leverhume Early Career Fellowship to be hosted by us and mentored by Dr Lisa Garforth.
Audrey's fellowship research will seek to understand the ways in which digital-social technologies are being used to confront, counter and cope with habitat loss and species extinctions. The interdisciplinary project will provide lively accounts of multi-species encounters between people, non-human life and machines within the Digital Anthropocene; and in doing so, consider what it means to be human in these uncertain and contradictory times.
