Rusudan Mirzikashvili
MSCA ITN Early Stage Researcher
Graduated as Architect from Tbilisi State Arts Academy, I completed my postgraduate degrees in Conservation of Monuments and Sites at the University of Leuven and in World Heritage Management at the University College Dublin. I have more than 15 years experience working with national and local government in Georgia as well as with the Council of Europe and UNESCO focusing on historic urban landscapes, conservation areas, spatial planning, tangible and intangible heritage management, heritage-led local development and capacity-building. I am also a co-founder and member of Urban Reactor - research and informal education platform for built environment, based in Georgia and of the Docomomo national chapter. Since 2019 I have joined the Newcastle University as an early-stage researcher in the frame of the HERILAND project, working on the cross-sectoral connections in heritage and landscape governance.
