North of Tyne as an Energy System Case Study

Project Summary

This project will focus in investigating the North of Tyne region, therefore covering a broader geographic area than before in CESI, and provide a bridge for exploring interactions between regional and national systems. By performing an energy audit and modelling the area, we will review and compare the targets and values of various stakeholders, including network and system operators, and local authorities, with what might be possible in the region if instances of energy systems integration are implemented.
