Supporting Clinical Trials

NCTU support high quality, innovative research. We provide a bespoke service to researchers, sponsors and industry partners through all stages of a trial, from trial design and application for funding, through trial set-up to trial conduct, analysis, reporting and close-down.

Why collaborate with us?

There are many advantages to working with us on your clinical trial or study.

  • Currently there are in excess of 40 ongoing clinical trials within NCTU
  • We are a fully registered with UK Clinical Research Collaboration (UKCRC)
  • We receive infrastructure support from NIHR
  • We have a close working relationship with regional NHS sponsors
  • We have expertise in a wide variety of trial types including CTIMPs, ATIMPs, Surgical, medical devices and public health
  • Service level support is provided for web based randomisation and eCRF systems

All approaches for help and advice must be made in a timely manner, preferably a minimum of 4 months before the grant deadline. Due to the often challenging nature of designing competitive healthcare and trials research and the very high demand on our services anything submitted without this lead in time may need to be delayed to a later call for bids. This is to make sure that a high quality, competitive bid is submitted.
